so there is a new phone out from nokia called the surge it has a slide out keyboard on it. So I don't no if there is a number pad on it or if the top part is touch screen. Its 129 with a 50 dollar rebate if anyone is interested

It's already on Amazon for a penny. Looks like an AT&T phone, but from what I've read, I don't think it's a touch screen.
Yeah though i wonder if amazon will require you to get the $30 data plan with the surge, If memory serves me correct the samsung eternity through amazon didn't require the $30 data plan while other places did . There is no wi fi, its only a 2 MP camera, and its not a touch screen the only way to interact with the phone is the slide out keyboard. Personally if think if there is no wi fi they should let you skate by with the $15 data plan for non smart phones. Oh and this is a phone made speciffically for ATT so there is no unlocked version.
yeah the no y fy was a drawl back for me cuz you can use that and not have a data plan with vzw my friend told me that they don't allow there customers to use the wy fy
It looks like you have to get the $30 data plan with this phone. Two other drawbacks are no WiFi and the camera. Not to mention that AT&T loaded a bunch of useless software onto it.
yeah VZW locks their phones down like no other. if you are using their phones you better be paying them for whatever services is passing through it. I love the vzw network .. but i do love the flexibility that unlocked gsm phones offer.
